The Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) operates the Business Bill Intelligence Portal. We process personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).

What we collect

• Your preferences: business sectors, watchlist, and alert and newsletter settings.
• Newsletter subscriptions: your email address and chosen categories.
• Basic technical data needed to keep the service secure and working.

Why we use it

To run your account, send the alerts and newsletters you choose, improve the portal, and keep it secure. We rely on your consent for newsletters and push alerts, which you can withdraw at any time.

Legislator accounts

Accounts that identify as Legislator / NASS Staff are verified by NESG before they are activated.

Your rights

Under the NDPA you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to its processing, or withdraw consent. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal data. We keep it only for as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires.
